What is it about being home at a certain time that creates so much drama?

I totally understand the desire to want to be grown up and stay out late and do grown up type things. What I don't enjoy is when I tell my kids to be in at a certain time, it seems as if this is the start of a major battle. Question for you..What time do you think a 14 or 15 year old should be in on a school night? How about the weekend?

For me, I guess the times whould be : On a week night (school night) 9 and a weekend 10. This would be a regular night but if something really special is going on and we know the parents, this could flex.

With the ever changing way life is, does it make sense that God would allow anything to happen by chance? Think of it this way, what is the sense of living a life where everything is random or by accident. I can not help but think that everything and I mean everything is controlled by God as He tries to provide the very best for us.

I think that this includes even the bad things that happen to us. I am not saying that God makes the bad things happen, but that he allows them to happen so that we will be better because of those things.
